i sing for a local band called phantom X. I can play the guitar but i have trouble playing and singing at the same time. You have to be specific in what kind of singing you want though. We do hard rock and metal so it usually ends up with me screaming but the other guys in my band think my voice sounds cool when i scream.

As far as writing music goes i have written 5 songs for our band which includes all of the instruments guitar, bass, drums and all the vocals for the songs. The best part of it all is that i am working with fellow experienced guitarists/drummers that can pick up the music very quickly.

If you live close to ohio i could help you out. But if you don't i would be happy to help you write any songs. My lyrics tend to reflect sorrow or anger but i am willing to try anything.

I can do both fairly well but I seriously doubt that you live anywhere near me.

You'd be better off putting posters around your city/town and putting an ad in your local paper with an audition date and everything. (; There's a ton of people on Y!A that are from all over the place and I don't think most of them want to drive 80 miles just to be in a band. G'luck.
