He is either evil, ignorant about abortion, or a certain percentage of each. This should be the most important question raised in this election. It's impossible to ignore or push to the side.

  1. Remember they're not incubators, they're women.

  2. You're VERY ignorant about abortion.

It's a personal choice for pregnant people and i think as well as he does that that desicion should be left for them to decide.

Abortion is NOT killing a baby. It's hardy a baby yet, it's only a ball of cells as small at the tip of a needle. It has NO LIFE. The only thing it has is potential. So technically, it's not considered a human. And good comes out of abortion too, they use it for stem cell research - producing organs from the cells for people who need it.

  3. I knew a Republican woman who was anti abortion, she was totally against it.  Then she developed a problem pregnancy.  If she had brought the fetus to term, it would have killed her.  So she had an abortion.  And she came away from the experience understanding that abortion is an extremely serious matter, never undertaken lightly, one that is far too personal to be interfered with by Big Government, and that women must always have the right to control their own bodies.  It is unfortunate that bad things happen during pregnancy, but it does happen sometimes and you cannot have a one size fits all law that applies to every case.Thats what the real world is like, I hope nothing like this ever happens to you or anyone you care about.

  4. Talk about ignorant.

  5. Who am I to tell someone what they can do with their body. If we tell people what they can and can't do than that can lead to other things. Our bodies are our own temples. You or anyone don't have the right to tell me what to do with it.

Abortion should be the top issue? Nevermind about the economy, gas prices, or poor education. We can keep having babies and pay medical bills with credit cards and drive our cars with gas we paid 10.00/g for. Your priorities are so straight.

  6. look in the mirror.

  7. Pro choice people (like myself) do not support the killing of babies. They believe that every woman should have the choice as to weather she has a baby or not. Fetuses do not equal babies, they cannot feel, they cannot think. Would I ever get an abortion? Probably not, unless I was raped. But think about what would happen if they unlegalize it? Desperate pregnant woman would take matters into their own hands, and well, that would be horrible. A women should not be forced to devote the rest of her life to raising an unwanted child just because of one little mess up. Its not like there are women running around who get abortions every month, because I doubt many people could afford that. You don't miss what you don't know.

  8. WOMEN SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE...

  9. shut up. Obama wouldn't be killing the babies...the possible parent would..and who could vote for McCain knowing that he would force ppl to raise children they either know they cant provide for or or not ready for? Its the woman's choice, not some white mans in a big house who wont have to deal with the outcome.

  10. Who are you? GOD?

  11. 'The killing of babies'- you yourself have just proved your ignorance.

A woman being forced to have a child against her will is just as bad as rape. It may not have the same aggression involved, but it is putting a woman and her body and mind through an extreme amount of unwanted trauma. Just saying that the woman shouldn't have had s*x is as disgusting as the argument that women who wear provocative clothes deserve to be raped.

Women will have abortions whether the state agrees with it or not, as it has been proved time and time again. So tell me, would you rather have it legalized with limits and have safe, clean environment for these women provided or have women be forced into backstreet, illegal clinics where the health care is poor, and could result in extreme illness or even death?

The real ignorance in this is the people who believe that making abortion illegal will solve the problem.

"It's not a choice; it's a child"- what ridiculously revolting propaganda. I am not buying it.

  12. I agree about the abortion issue. The woman HAS the right to choose....she can choose not to have s*x....she can choose to use protection(and risk it failing).

However, there will NEVER be a candidate that you (nor myself) will agree with on every issue.

  13. You're just another control freak who doesn't think women should be able to make their own choices.

If you make abortion illegal you'll only have illegal abortions and that just adds to the dangers of the world we live in.

  14. Everyday is a new abortion debate on Yahoo answers...Jesus..get over it..people have different opinions.

Mine is pro choice  : )

When you get raped and wind up pregnant let me know what you decide.

  15. People who either support the right of "privacy" for women, or people who are too afraid of their peers who would otherwise call them ignorant for NOT supporting the right of "privacy" for women.

  16. i agree with you 100 percent a baby is the most precious gift from god and a mother is suppose to be a loving protector. people say well its my choice well i say they give condoms away free at the health department make your choice before theres a heart beat. as far as obama goes he would spare the life of a cold blooded killer and condemn unborn babies to death just to get a vote

  17. Miss Sunshine needs to get a grip on the REAL WORLD.

  18. I Agree.  Michael Vick took better care of his dogs than that

  19. X_x

    ignorant u say? X_X

  20. I don't support him for many thousands of reasons.

  21. As Obama said at Saddleback Church

    transcript: http://www.rickwarrennews.com/transcript...

he wants to reduce the abortion rate, just like the rest of us.  He's just unwilling to take his anti-abortion stance so far as to make illegal a woman's choice in the matter, including in cases of rape, incest, or even the endangerment of the life of the mother, as is the case in the GOP platform (although still not McCain's platform).

Your representation of Obama's voting record is fraudulent.  This misconception has been debunked dozens of times in Yahoo Answers, so you really don't have an excuse.

Don't extremist conservatives think it might hurt their cause to put out stuff that's so easily debunked? or do they not think their audience would feel its intelligence is being insulted?

To see this lie fully debunked, go here:

    or slog through the following:

Many on this site are falsely presuming that Obama's voting against certain abortion legislation was because it provided babies the right to protection if they survive a late-term abortion.  Obama correctly has pointed out that the existing law provided such protections already, and voted against the newer legislation due to OTHER constraints it would put on the woman's rights.

The act which failed in the Illinois Senate sought to outlaw pretty much ALL abortions....for any reason including deformity, terminal illness, rape, incest.  The legislation in question threatened the standing abortion laws in the state, while other provisions were bundled in that created liability for doctors, designed to intimidate doctors and make it more difficult to perform legal procedures. So Barack Obama opposed it for that reason, not to oppose protection of babies born alive.

The act was designed as "wedge" legislation.  It would have no effect on medical procedures, but was designed for just for these sorts of attacks.  When a group does this, they put one horrible provision (the "infanticide" part of the bill) and package it with a bunch of other provisions that assault a woman’s right to choose. Then, when someone votes against the bill to protect that right, they say the vote was over the "infanticide."

The media have promoted what amount to little more than gullibility tests about Obama and the legislation. In several instances, the media have simply repeated false accusations -- or made the accusations themselves -- that Obama's opposition amounted to support for infanticide.  On the August 18 edition of his radio show, Rush Limbaugh claimed that Obama "believes it is proper to kill a baby that has survived an abortion," while right-wing pundit Ann Coulter said that Obama "wants the doctors ... chasing it through the delivery room to make sure it gets killed." Further, author Jerome Corsi claimed that "[e]ven if a child was born, he said the woman still had the right to kill the child in an abortion," and Oregonian associate editor David Reinhard wrote that Obama's opposition was "enabling infanticide." In fact, Obama and other opponents said the bill posed a threat to abortion rights and was unnecessary because, they said, Illinois law already prohibited the conduct supposedly addressed by the bill.

So instead of thinking, "Hmm, this sounds just a little too improbable, that Obama would want babies surviving abortions to be killed.  I'd better research this first before I make this claim.  After all, I'm a journalist and don't want to be caught out reporting on something that turns out to be easily debunked, and that most people would think sounds phony from the start.  I don't want to lose my credibility as a journalist," they instead just MAKE STUFF UP, expecting their audience to be dumb enough to fail this gullibility test of a story.

It's been said that, if it weren't for lack of context, there would be no news.  But this is ridiculous.

You have to consider the source.  One source of these claims is Jerome Corsi, who has also written that McCain made his wealth through the Mafia and that 9/11 was perpetrated by the Bush Administration.

Another source of these claims is Jill Stanek, who says domestic violence is acceptable against women who have abortions.  She also supports billboards in Tanzania that say "Faithful Condom Users" in English and Swahili, written next to a large skeleton, to discourage condom use.  She claims that "aborted fetuses are much sought after delicacies" in China to which she added, "I think this stuff is happening."

Nurse Jill Stanek claimed that fetuses that were born alive at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, were abandoned without treatment, including in a soiled utility room.  The Illinois Atty. General's office
