I am looking for a audio editor, who can recommend a best audio editor to me?

allll depends on whatyou do. I really like The Mixcraft products for simple trimming and whatnot. Cooledit pro is a bit more difficult to use, but has loads of effects. then you could get into Acid and Fruit loops, but those are more for making music...a nice little free editor is Audacity. but ive only had personal expierences with mixcraft, cooledit and acid.

Easily the best free Audio Editing software available is Audacity:

You can use it to record Audio from files, microphones, even record cassettes as MP3 files using the Line In port on your computer. There are also many options that allow you to play the music file in reverse, changing the pitch or tempo and many others.
