Who can teach me to drive?

I am insured to learn to drive in my car. can my boyfriend who is 23, has had a uk licence for more than 3 years but who is not insured on my car teach me to drive in my car?

Whoever teaches you needs to be insured to drive the vehicle which you are being taught in.

He doesnt need to be insured on your car!! As long as your insured to drive it then its ok for him to teach u in it. as long as he doesnt drive your car.

Yes however he needs to be insured fully comp on another vehicle or yours

Yes, as long as you are insured to drive that car and he is old enough with enough years of driving experience (which he is) it is fine. He would not be able to drive your car at any point though, unless insured on his own car

Get driving lessons or get your boyfriend's to change his insurance so that he is 3rd party on your car too or any other car...it shouldn't cost him much more.
