Who can tell me about the NCLB Act?

I live in Canada, so I haven't heard much about it, but I'm doing a poster project on NCLB. Who can tell me the basics about it, what aspects would be interesting to put on a poster etc.

Also, any good websites that you know of that are simple to understand, as I was looking at Wikipedia and it's a little confusing.

It was designed to motivate and encourage schools to do a better job of teaching, here are some of the goals, Prepare all students for the future with 21st century skills

Create enthusiasm for learning and engage all students in the classroom

Close achievement gaps and raise achievement for all students

Ensure that all educators have the resources and tools they need to get the job done. The NEA, National Education Association is heavily involved with this program, hopefully we are making a brighter future for generations to come
