i need to know to get to this hotel from the airport. this is my forst time visiting rome. do i need to take the train? a taxi? what is the best and the cheapest way?

from fco, take a train to Termini station (there's one every 15minutes)

A the Termini station you can take a taxi (10 minutes ride) or metro to Barberini ( line A) and walk down on via delTritone, at the light turn right: and you there!

It's not too difficult...

The best way will be to take the "Leonardo Express" train from FCO airport.  After you clear customs and pick up your luggage, follow the signs to the Stazione.  It costs €11 each way.  It takes about 30 minutes and leaves every half hour.  This will take you to the main train station - Roma Termini.

From here you have a choice -

1) You could take a cab to the hotel.  It may run about €10 or so.

2) or, you can take Roma Metro Linea A.  Tickets are €1 each.  Get off at "Barberini/ Fontana di Trevi".  Turn right at Via Sistina - walk 2 blocks, then turn left at Via Crispi.  Go to maps.google.com and enter the address for a map.
