I always have a dream. Not totally a dream cause I think I'm half awake, half asleep. But in my dream, I did'nt see anything. Only I hear is a voice that's scary enough to kill me. That making me afraid to sleep again.

Anyone who can tell me if it is a dream or a nightmare or something that close to it?

  1. i bet it's a nightmare because it associates with scary voice and stuff.. [;

  2. There are times when people are dreaming and you realize subconsciously that you are aware that you are dreaming.

    What you are experiencing is a nightmare since its obviously causing you discomfort. Btw, dreams tell us a lot of times about our lives since people keep events in their subconsciousness and only when they are sleeping, do they realize the event.

    You are experiencing some problem in your life that you need to change quickly and that is what the voice is telling you. To get rid of it, you must find your problem and solve it quickly.

  3. if you are afraid it is a nightmare. think about it, say you love flowers, and another person is scared of them, if you dream them you are just having a dream...to the other person they are having a nightmare. a nightmare can show signs of heavy sweating, heavyness of chest, and highblood pressure,  those reactions are usually enogh to wake us from REM sleep. try to take your blood pressure when you wake up, if it is elevated you are having a response to the dream. to enduce a "good dream" try not to focus on the bad, spend the last five minutes you are awake  thinking about things about stuff you enjoy.

  4. literally, a nightmare has to be a dream.

  5. I think what you are asking is: is this a dream/nightmare or a night TERROR.

    Night terrors are usually not remembered by the dreamer but they wake up in a sheer panic usually screaming, kicking, and confused. If this sounds like you then it is a night terror. Usually children get them and grow out of it but I've had a couple during stressful periods of my life most recently a few years ago when I was heading into college.

    The best you can do is perhaps listen to some soft, calming music, have good thoughts, and go to bed in a peaceful state of mind. Bad ideas would be overstimulating yourself before bed by watching television, reading books that are action/suspenseful/scary, or going to bed right after a party. These recommendations go for nightmares also. It's also not a bad idea to not eat about 3 hours before bed. This also stimulates the body.

    Good luck and feel better. They are terrifying but they aren't real. Perhaps sleep with a pet/stuffed animal for comfort. I know I can't sleep without 2 of my dogs on my bed. :-)

  6. If it makes you feel bad its a nightmare. From my experiences dreams usually turn out to be deja vus (ie something thats going to happen later). Though in this case it might just be a movie or something stupid you'll see later and not actually pertain to you.

  7. i belief that it is a nightmare since it was making u 2be afraid what u have 2do to stop that is to be praying before going to bed.
