Who can tell me what the optimum global temperature for life on earth is???? Or the optimum level of CO2?????

If nobody can answer these questions definitively that will be all the reason I need to believe the AGW supporters are full of it.

LOL, Great question!  The simple fact is that alarmists are confused as to how exactly they have connected CO2 to heat, let alone established the 'politically correct' amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

This is what we got...  We got 385 parts per million, which is 1,000,000 divided by 385 which equals about 1 2500th of our entire atmosphere...  Yet they claim that miniscule amount is doing so much harm!  LOL  

Then we got that ridiculous light spectral (ghost) theory that sounds good and brainwashes some who have no previous knowledge to replace, so they jump on it.  The problem is that even if it were absolutely true, all that heat that the CO2 absorbs would be handed right off like a hot potato, once the heat source is gone....  So, that doesn't even cut hot butter.

Then you got the thermal greenhouse blocking heat from escaping thing.  Well, that makes about as much sense as using a sponge to dry a lake.  See, as we increase in elevation, all gases tend to lose density, except they want us to believe that CO2 has this magical power to go to a certain height, gather together like some conspiracy and block all escaping heat.  Funny thing about that one is that  as the sun went down, we would simply not get cool, which isn't the case.  We get cool every single night.

I have also asked for any alarmist to show where in the 30's that the temperature range between night and day were of greater difference with the lack of greenhouse gases.  For instance, due to the lack of greenhouse gas in the 30's for example, the temperature difference between night and day should be like 50 degrees, whereas today the temperatures would be closer together, like 20 degrees for example.  Well, the simple fact is that they just don't and can't and won't prove it.  It just don't work!!!  Thereby we have the common sense and the actual scientific data that proves that their ridiculous global warming theory is an utter hoax!  I will be glad to debate a scientist that thinks they can debunk me but.... they won't.

probably about 4 degrees lower than now. interglacials are a temporary imbalance on the normal (for the last few million years) state of ice age.

Optimum temperature?  Something within 1-2 degrees of where we were 100 years ago.  Not 3-4 degrees warmer than now, that would be catastrophic.

"We humans have built a remarkable socioeconomic system during perhaps the only time when it could be built, when climate was sufficiently stable to allow us to develop the agricultural infrastructure required to maintain an advanced society."

The point is, our modern society, with intensive agriculture, and massive coastal development, is very sensitive to temperature change.

The optimum level of CO2?  Something like 200-300 ppm, the natural levels without our massive input.

If you think these guys are "full of it", you have absolutely no credibility.

The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

They all say global warming is real, and mostly caused by us.

EDIT - The goal is simple, and understood by all scientists and most all world leaders.  Reduce man made greenhouse gases that are changing the climate.

it has been both hotter and colder.

the earth itself doesn't care.

there have been times of more and less CO2.

various plants and animals have prospered either way.

what's important is that different species prosper at differing temperatures, and differing levels of CO2.

humans have evolved to prosper at the average temperatures and CO2 levels of the last 10,000 years.

our species has survived a couple of ice ages, but mostly not in the extreme northern or southern climes where the weather was hostile.

our extraordinary population explosion is partly due to the conditions that have existed for the last hundred or two hundred years.

to allow those conditions to drastically change is to enter an environmental mine field.

in part, Darfur is the result of drought, brought on by global warming, and precipitation pattern changes.

so it can be said that global warming is already responsible for 200,000 to 400,000 deaths in a single country.

with the rising temperatures, there will be many more such situations.

the truth is AGW could hit you over the head -- you're going to deny it.

i wonder why?

do you work in the coal or oil industry?

are you afraid the gov't is going to take your SUV away?

are you afraid gasoline is going to be $20 a gallon?

(it probably will, within less than 20 years - maybe 10.)

I can. The optimum temperature for life on Earth is definitively 288.612K. The optimum concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide is definitively 283.45 parts per million. These answers are definitely definitive.
