Who can tell me which hotel or what area in PUNTA CANA shoul I stay?

I'm going on vacation to santo domingo, Dom Rep. this summer for 7 days and 3 days in punta cana, i need to know where is the best area to stay for young adults, like if there is a specific are where there are more cafes, bars and restaurant?

Excellence is also on the top 10 list of best selling resorts so is Melia caribe and  Occidental Grand PC They both  allow children  I stayed at Sirenis and it was kind of out in the middle of nowhere but I still liked the resort.  If you can there is a day trip from the resorts that go to Saona island you take a catamaran out to the island and have lunch and drinks and take a speed boat back that stops out in the water for swimming and more drinks.  Its absolutely gorgeous go to this site and go to resort reviews its there top picks for places in the caribbean and the reviews link you straight to trip advisor http://redhotescapes.com/  I always read the reviews its one way to get info on a place from people who have just been.  Have fun

Punta Cana? only hotels nothing outside!!!! Go better to Puerto Plata much more fun day & night!!!

got back from there in jan,,stay at an Iberostar,, we were at the iberostar dominicana, and theres a iberostar punta cana, been to both,, they are awsome, casino, great entertainment and games all day and nite, great food,  check them out ,, the beach is bavaro beach the best there is,, you can walk for 40 miles of beach and  feel safe its great,,
