  1. Not uncommon.  You are experiencing nicotine withdrawal.   This is no joke as you are finding out.

    Some people like to use the nicotine patches or gum to help get through this part.   They gradually reduce the amount of nicotine you intake until you don't need it anymore.

    You are doing something incredible hard and wonderful for yourself and your family.  

    My dad passed away from lung cancer after suffering two heart attacks, all brought on by smoking.  I would give anything to have him back.
