Who can translate this into Irish?

I want "the black bear" translated for a novel I'm writing... I'd really be thankful!

  1. according to my Scottish friend, it's "bear dubh."  However, there is an accent mark on the "e" in bear.  Can't replicate it here.  Google "gaelic irish dictionary".  Good hunting.

    In the Scottish Gaelic, it's "Uinn Dubh."
