Touched

Turned

Moved

Burned

By another

In Love we trust

Others

To protect us

Correct us

Deflect us from

Harm to

Ourselves

We stumble

Trip

Wobble and

Fall

On our faces

Disgraces

In haste this

Heart bleeds

With needs

As it feeds

Off another

Both weakened

Diminished

Finished

In Love we trust

  7. Wow, that poem really resonated with me. I have made that same mistake! I agree that we have to trust ourselves first. We ultimately walk through life like how we dream...alone. We have to be our own advocate and our own friend, we have to know we will be on our own side.

  8. Well in GOD we trust And GOD trusts us to trust ourselves .               .All others Pay Cash
