We live in N.C. and we have a family member who was police cheif for several years then a county commissioner. Needless to say he knows several of the "big-wigs" in town and they think he's a saint. He has tried to have us arrested or turned in to the county for everything you can think of such as, saying we weren't paying taxes for a shed on our property, fireworks, etc... we are so tired of the harassment but as soon as the police find out he's involved, they are automatically on his side because he's "one of the boys". I'm certain my husband and I would both be sitting in jail if there were anything they could find. Should I just let him keep racking up all these unjust complaints so maybe if we ever end up in court it will look bad for him? Or is there someone we could go to?

  1. newspaper, lawyer. try filing report, just to have some kind of paper trail. also keep records of any incidents with law enforcement. you're gonna need more than just your word. write down dates, times, badge numbers, and details of incidents.

  2. that is so strange that a family member is doing this, i thought family was supposed to be on YOUR side.  i feel so sorry for you.  if you do get a lawyer are you ready for the battle?  its going to be hard and long... if you are up to it then fight it.  i would be on your side.  i do think that if you went to the newspaper and wrote something that he would be hotter than hades after you.  i would pray about it and then figure out what yer going to do.  it just isnt fair for what you have to go thru... this man should pay for what he does.  its perpetuating lies and making his head huge.

  3. start a gang
