Who can you not help liking?

A player/team that you really shouldn't like because they're your rival, or whatever reason, but it's just hard to find negatives

Well, I'm a Giants fan, and most of them can't stand the Dodger Blue. But I can't stand but to enjoy Either and Kemp killing the ball day in and day out with Ramirez complimenting them in the outfield and a superb catcher in Russell Martin

I can't help but like David Wright even though he's one of the Phillies rivals.  He's attractive, and more importantly a phenominal player.  I can't help but like the guy.

well i like the Rays, but I like the Brewers entire season with the CC trade and how they have played. I like Manny, even though Manny being Manny gets annoying in "The Nation" area. Manny has to be the funniest player, because of him being Manny.

I'm also a Mets fan and hated, hated, hated the Braves. I still hate the Braves. The classless Turners and their ridiculous tomahawk chop made me want to upchuck not to mention they couldn't even sell out their own playoff games which shows just how committed even Atlanta residents are to the team...

But for some reason, I could never bring myself to hate the mid-90s Yankees. Most of it was because I thought Paul O'Neill was the most honest ballplayer since Lenny Dykstra. Just loved his intensity and all out style. Bernie Williams was also a great player with a ton of class, Jeter was emerging, Torre was running the show and every year they seemed to come up with some no-name guy like Jim Leyritz or Shane Spencer who would capture your imagination. Plus they gave chances to guys like Gooden and Strawberry and as a Mets fan, no matter what those guys did, there's always a soft spot in my heart for them.

For me its Big Papi i just cant help but like him I hate the Red Sox and Yankees. But for some reason Papi just seems to have fun all the time and seems like a nice guy.  I am a Dodger fan and I also like the Angels but since they are in different leagues it doesnt bother me.

im a giants fan and our rivals are the dodgers and the A's but i cant help but like manny ramirez and joe torre i dont know what it is about them but i cant helpe but root for them except for when they are playing my team

and i still root for ex giants (mark sweeney)

but the rest of the dodgers i dont care about

Even though there's no logical reason for me to like them, I really admire the Twins and the A's for being able to compete with the lowest salaries in the league.

I don't know why, but i cant help liking the Angels. I am a huge Dodger fan. Even though they arnt big rivals, they still are town rivals. They are a great team and they have the best pitching rotation in mlb. Idk, they are just a like able team
