Who coined the phrase "Fake it till you make it?"?

I know a lot of people quote it, but who coined it?

I think it's just a train of thought that a lot of people think.  It's the same as "act as if your happy, rich, healthy etc till it becomes real".  I don't think it came from anyone in particular.  It's just a philosophy.
