Who collects all the coins in di Trevi Fountain (Fontana di trevi)?

Who earns all the money from the tourist then?

the government takes the money and gives it to the poor. i went ther in may of last year and while i was there a guy was stealing the money out of Trevi. he was taking Euro Yen USD ne thing he could reach with his magnetic stick... unfortunately there wasnt a cop around to tell...

the money goes to the city hall that gives it to the poor people.. Some years ago there was a guy that used to steal that money but once he got caught he got arrested!
