At first I didn't see the numbers moving, then whoa! (Look closely) ... I kinda hope this is a fake thing

Those figures are estimates worldwide. They are not the real values, but they are probably pretty close as they are based off of statistical information gathered.

Perhaps it is meant to scare us to take action on some of the problems. But I just find it interesting to watch.
