Question:

Who could repair wooden hull on old coast guard station.It is in H20&no motor.Now leaking & cant be dry docked

The boat has been at current Marina for 12 years and sits on the bottom at low tide. Believe this had created stress points that are now leaking. Have installed numerous bilge pumps that are now going off/pumping all the time. We don;t have the resources right now to pull it out and fiberglass the bottom. Looking for a fix while still in the water and not too costly. Would like to get another year out of her before dry docking. We are on the gulf just north of Clearwater,Florida.

HELP - My husband is so afraid we are going to sink and lose our investment.

  1. use splash zone underwaterr epoxy. If the hull is sound it will take the weight of the pressure of floating. I


  2. i would have to see it, but from what you describe, and if it is just the hull....because nothign else is any good at this point, i woudl say to cut your losses.
