  1. My Moma, nobody slaps harder than her!

  2. Defense: Souray or Chara

Forward: Thornton maybe, he hit 97 at the All Star Comp.

  3. Zdeno Chara!! being a bruins fan im proud to announce that!!!

  4. Chara hands down.

  5. Rolston has never had his tested.....

  6. Sid "The Kid" Crosby or Jamr Jagr.

  7. Not sure who currently has it, but the hardest ever was:

Hardest slap shot: 118.3 mph. Former star Bobby Hull, who played from 1957–1972 and 1979–1980, reportedly blasted the hardest slap shot in league history.

  8. Zdeno Chara at the moment has the hardest slap-shot but it all depends on the situation in my opinion.

There's a big diffrence between the all-star competition and a regular game.Your not gonna get much of a slap-shot if your being pressured and people are in front of your shots.

  9. Chara and Rolston...two of the hardest slappers around.

  10. Chara had a 103 mph shot at the All-Star Weekend: Slapshot competition.

Yes they can score from behind the blue line, it's the goalie that has to stop it right?

Lidstrom even scored from behind the blue line against Nashville, I think it was around the centre line.

  11. zam is write Chad Kilger hardest 106.6 fastest now a days. Chad Kilger showed Zdeno Chara off lol.

  12. Zdeno Chara 103mph

  13. Well, in the all star competition, chara won, and I think he shot 103 mph.

  14. Kilger and Chara have the hardest but Lidstrom has the best because his is much more accurate.

  15. Currently, Chad Kilger has the unofficial modern record of 106.6 MPH.  Most of the answers listed above are only considering all-stars.

He recorded this at a team skills competition.

As far as your other question goes, I am sure there are many players who could score from their own blue line, it all depends on who is in net.

  16. Chara kept his title once again at the skills competition with the hardest slap shot of 103 MPH.

  17. chara, phaneuf, roloston, souray

chara and phaneuf definitly have the hadest followed by souray and roloston

citizen kid- what hockey have you been watching?

  18. At this years All Star competition, Chara won with 103 mph. Coming in second was Vinny LeCavalier with 101mph I believe.
