Who decides to put traffic sign's at particular place?

Who decidesd to put traffic sign's at particular place?Many times those signs are at inappropriate place where people can barely see it or read it and makes it to cause accident or get traffic ticket.Do you think it should put at more better places all over?

I would think that would depend on who maintains the road in question. Could be a community association, toll road operator, municipal council, state highway administration or federal highway administration. There's a generalized set of guidelines called the MUTCD put out by the FHWA, which creates the standards to install and maintain traffic control devices. If you feel these standards aren't being complied with then petition the relevant body that manages the road in question.  Who knows, you might save someone's life.
