Who decides when a fighter is ready to go amateur or pro? Can a MMA fighter go pro after 1 fight?

Can a fighter go pro without his trainer's approval?

  1. your first fight can be pro tehre alot of guys out there that dont have trainer or managers dont expect to start off on big show making any money after 1 amateur fight

You decide to go amatuer via registering with a pro-am promoter,  the "am" part in pro-am means amateur.  You can register with any pro-am promoter, but 1 fight? ....what you gonna face like 11 fighters at once?.....hehehehe.  Usually any promoter wants a few amateur ( ammy ) fights under your belt before they'll ask you to fight in a pro event in order to prove that you're a little better than the "smoker's league".

    You don't need anyone's approval other than the promoter's yo.  Your trainer isn't your dad.
