Question:

Who deserves the lawsuit more: The hospital, or the news stations??

Although I definitely think that it was a HORRIBLE shame what the hospital did in allowing Esmin Green to die in the waiting room floor... and walking on by...

But, it just seems twice as wrong to me for news sources like CNN (I'm sure there were more) to show surveillance of her flopping around on the floor and dying.

It just seems like sick opportunism to sell a story...

That's just me, but what do you think?

Who should be the brunt of this lawsuit?

  1. No i think the news agencies had every right (and very good intentions) by showing that footage. It added to the story and allowed people to actually see with their own eyes something that should never have happened in the first place.

Stories like this hit home so much harder when you can identify with the victim, in this case it was an older woman like a grandmother (approx.) and it makes you ask yourself what if that had been my relative.

The hospital should be closed and everyone working in that facility should be assessed for any reassignment.

  2. I personally feel that the hospital is responsible and should be sued and fined. It's disgusting.

It's also so horrible that the footage is being played. Video of anyone's mother dying is just sickening. It should be kept for the authorities. We don't need to see it to understand it was appalling.
