O.K. if we had to pick our favorite driver based on pure talent, who would it be. This can be active or non-active drivers. Remember this to, this means all of NASCAR just not the top divisions. Sorry jr. nation I know you dont know anybody else so you can go ahead and skip this one.

  1. kyle bush

  2. I am man enough to admit Jr. isn't the best driver. But he is talented. But here's something to think about. Kyle Busch is where he is right now because of doing something the camera doesn't see every week. If you go on TNT RaceBuddy and check Kyle Busch's views, you'll find that week in and week out he is shoving somebody out of the way calling it a "pass". So what Kyle and 18 fans may call racing, the rest of the world calls shoving.

So the talented driver has to be...not Gordon. Johnson. I mean, seriously, look at Jimmie. Johnson has been in this deal for less than half of what Gordon has, and he's already gotten half the Championships. Gordon is the current Richard Petty, but Johnson is the current David Pearson.

Johnson is on his way to being a 5-time Champ. Obviously the Chase just doesn't work for Gordon, but it works for Johnson.

By the way, Gordon is still my 2nd favorite driver and Johnson is my 3rd, but I do think that if both had started in the same year they'd both have 4 titles.

  3. wow, you are a real Pri..........................

I am a huge Jr fan, and Jr has a lot of talent. All the drivers have talent, or they wouldn't be where they are now. So to answer your question, right now it would be Kyle Busch. But what about Kasey Kane? Jimmie Johnson? Jeff Gordon?

    Denny Hamlin? Tony Stewart?

Remember, Kyle Busch got beat not once, but twice back to back by Martin Truex Jr for the Bush Title. So there is more talent.

So please, think before you ask messed up questions. And if you are a so called "Fan" you should have a little bit more respect.

  4. Tony Stewart has got to be one of the most talented drivers in Nascar.

2002 and 2005 Nascar Cup champ with 32 wins.

    6 wins in Busch/Nationwide.

2 wins in the truck series.

2006 IROC champ and 4 wins.

    2 IRL wins.

4 time USAC champ, first ever USAC Triple Crown winner.

    Dude can drive!

  5. Me

  6. Well of course my favorite, Tony Stewart. But there is always Carl Edwards or Jimmie Johnson. Cannot bring myself to say Kyle just yet......

  7. I'm part of the Jr. nation....I'd have to say Kyle Bush....I haven't eaten an M&M in months....I don't like him, but the little prick is good.

  8. tony stewart.  best driver out there

  9. Kyle Busch

    Joey Logano

    Jimmie Johnson

  10. Miek Waltrip

  11. Though I am a very loyal member of the JR Nation, I DO know other drivers. Based off pure TALENT, my vote would go to Tony Stewart. I've seen him get out of more scrapes than anyone else on the circuit -- he has some of the best control and driver intuition I've ever seen.

  12. I would stay with the driver I've always supported and that would be Jeff Gordon.

  13. Carl Edwards

  14. I'm a HUGE Jr fan and I'd like to see him be a little more aggressive on the track and he could win more probably cause he's been right up there at the front a lot but my vote would probably have to got to Tony Stewart.  I like Tony, he's a 2 Time Champ, he's raced Indy and IROC and he he's got the talent, guts and skills to get the job done!  Go Smoke!

  15. Jeff Gordon

  16. Mine would be

Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne or Jimmie Johnson. I think those guys have the most talent

  17. can't go by results so far this year, but the most talented driver and the one that deserves to be the favorite of all times is Tony!!

  18. Kasey Kahne

  19. Kyle Bush, and too soon for Joey Logano yet, he needs Sprint Cup experience and a track record!

  20. Yet another diehard Jr fan here, and I'd go with Smoke as well. Godsmack, not only did Shrub not beat Truex for 2 Busch Titles, he did't even make the top-10 in 2005, then in 2006 he finished behind Paul Menard. Mike P, not only does Smoke have 2 IRL wins he also has an IRL title in 1996. Basically every Smoke's driven he's won a championship in.
