Who deserves to fight Fedor next; Arlovski or Barnett?

Does Arlovski or Barnett get the fight, and who do you think has the best CHANCE to win?

I bet Barnett goes first, then Arlovski if Coutour doesn't get his contract worked out in the meantime.

I say that because Arlovski/Fedor could  be built up a lot more by both having a medium/big fight prior to fighting each other, and they both still have 2 fights left on their contracts.

I think Arlovski should get it. He'll put on a better fight with Fedor. I mean I too would like to see Fedor vs Coture, but Coture's contract won't be up( if he can even get out of it, since he still owes the UFC 2 fights) till around October or so. I don't think Affliction can wait that long to put on another big fight. I'm an Arlovski fan, but realisticly I think Fedor will win. Then we'll get to see Randy pound on Fedor!!! XC baby!

Arlovski and Fedor has already been confirmed

I agree with the below post, Barnett is probably the best suited to defeat Fedor I don't think he will but I think if someone was going to do it probably will be him.

I dont know who gets it, I think Arlovski does actually have a chance though. He is probably the best athlete at HW. Superior hand speed and agility go a long way when you want to sprawl and brawl like I think Arlovski would do agaisnt Fedor.

That being said I'll still take Fedor against either guy

Word is it will be Arlovski in November and Barnett in March if Fedor beats Andrei.  I personally think that Barnett has been more active and has two recent wins at World Victory Road and now another over Rizzo, the competition hasn't been upper echelon but he has been busier and winning more than Andrei recently.  Both fighters looked really good Saturday but I think Josh's well rounded submission game and size is the best chance for Fedor's first defeat, but I think thats still only about a 20% chance IMO.

Fedor and arlovski has NOT been confirmed yet. That match will probally happen first though. Arlovski is highly popular and will bring in more fans which affliction needs to keep doing since it is just a start up company.

I really do think barnett deserves it more. His career to this point has been much better and his challengers have been much stronger.

Arlovski has been working with one of the best boxing coaches in the world so he is only going to improve. If your looking for a lucky tko or ko victory i would say alrovski has a small chance.

On the other hand barnett is skilled in all areas and is bigger so I would say that he has the best chance to win.

I would still pull for fedor in either fight but his time is going to run out. All the best MMA fighters lose sooner or later!
