Who deserves to use "Enter Sandman" more?

Mariano Rivera or Billy Wagner...

As a Yankees fan, I have to go with Rivera, and I don't think Wagner deserves to be compared to Rivera at all.

I dont think that Wagner should be in the same ballpark as Rivera....Rivera is the best relief pitcher in MLB history. The mets feel the need to copy the yankees about EVERYTHING(pinstripes, logo, closers song) it is just very dumb that he uses that song.

Dido i'm and astros fan and not anything against Wagner but Rivera is better. He was awesome while he was here in Houston and he did par take in the combined no hitter against the Yanks but he is beginning to fall of this year in NY

you are right, Wagner is not even close to being compared to Ravera.  I thought it was very epic at Yankee Stadium all star game when Rivera came in to Enter Sandman.  Even on his first warm up pitch, there were more camera flashes than ive ever seen.  Rivera deserves and has earned righgts to that song.

and i know a few players who should deserve to use exit sandman and they include, but are not limited to, : Isringhausen, Gagne, Wood (feeling a trend here with NL central closers)

nice answer shane - mo is THE GREATEST closer of all time and if only one of them could have it it would deffinatly be mariano  -- he is also more famous for using it than wagner

If only one of them were allowed to use it, it'd probably make sense to give it to the guy who started using it first, and who actually picked it, instead of the guy who started using it later, having never heard it before, because the team thought it'd be good

This isn't much of a debate...Mo blows Wagner away! Billy is very solid, but Rivera is the best ever in the Postseason period!

Since Wagner started using it first, he should even though Rivera might be better than him but that doesn't mean he deserves it any more than Wagner.  I really don't care & it's not a big issue to me

Well they're on different teams so it's not like a competition/problem. Rivera is the better closer but that doesn't mean the song is reserved to him. They probably don't really care anyways.

Granted Mariano is the best, but Wagner was using the song BEFORE Rivera.  You can look it up.

So, they both deserve to use it equally.

Comparing Wagner To Mo just isnt fair, Mo is by far the better pitcher. However since Mo said he dosent care this really shouldt be an issue. Since the neither pitcher is makeing  a big deal out of why is everyone else?
