People are saying now we did it to ourselves! Like, the government was in on it. I love my country and want everything to be okay and alright!! My dad recently watched a program about a theory in which the twin towers were built in a certain way to pro the attack and that the terrorists on the plane would have never known the correct way to hit the buildings so it collapsed in the way it did etc...which means there must have been inside help?? I am only 14 and am so confused and concerned about this because I thought we were all for liberty and justice, at least in the big picture!! Like how could we ever do this to ourselves? Someone please help me to understand this whole thing a little better and best answer will surely receive 10 points! I love America so much!!

  1. Let me answer that with a quote from Col. Robert Bowman:-

"… at least they made it impossible for those planes to be intercepted.  If our government had merely did nothing, and I say that as an old interceptor pilot—I know the drill, I know what it takes, I know how long it takes, I know what the procedures are, I know what they were, and I know what they’ve changed them to. If our government had merely done nothing, and allowed normal procedures to happen on that morning of 9/11, the Twin Towers would still be standing and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive. My sisters and brothers, that is treason."

    - Dr. Robert Bowman Lt. Col., USAF, ret.,Decorated air combat veteran; head of Star Wars programs under Presidents Ford & Carter; Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering from Caltech; leading expert on national security.

The evidence is clear, either "we" did it to ourselves or "we" intentionally sabotaged standard procedures which would have prevented the planes from hitting their targets. Either way it amounts to high treason and complicity to commit mass murder.

"We" does not mean the government.  "We" means criminal elements inside the government and their associates outside the government. Most members of government were honestly deceived or frightened into silence.

I answered this question in detail yesterday. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I will link the other question here

  2. The only conspiracy was by the people who organized and carried out the attack on WTC and other targets.

Best evidence, not proven, indicates that it was Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda terrorist organization. There are very few organizations capable of organizing such an attack so Al Qaeda remains a good bet.

There are a lot of people trying out different theories to explain what happened. Such an attack has never been carried out before so there are no reliable 'experts' able to tell you with any certainty that the buildings did not collapse as a result of the attack and the resulting fires.

People who suggest we did this to ourselves have no reliable proof. If you read the theories there is always an inconsistancy that makes the whole story more improbable than the facts as presented by the government.

  3. Well it sure wasnt the alleged terrorists--some of those peeps have turned up alive.

Some were using govt issued credit cards before and after 911.

If terrorists were on those remote controlled birds then they were tricked into boarding. The others?--seems they were partying in OKC using their CIA issued credit cards to pay the bar tab.

It was a conspiracy by some crooked perps in the govt. Start with d**k Cheney & move on from there. Dig up the PNAC membership list for some names.

  4. People say alot of stupid things. It was a bunch of angry extremist muslims manipulated by Osama Bin Laden. End of story.

  5. And what people would those be? Kooks and wackos.

  6. I found a scientist who studied what Barki mentioned about the buildings being blown to the ground. He analyzed the dust that came from the debris of the building to see if there were explosive residues. I don't know how much science you've studied so far but most of this you'll find to be explained very clearly. You can tell from this video that this scientist is just a real nice guy and yet he's found out what may have brought the buildings down! Watch this, it's fascinating:

  7. I too love America and America did not attack itself, rather it was a few power hungry people in the gov that committed 9/11. Most of the people in this country are good, hard working people. I believe we are all here to take part in the great American experiment called freedom. there are and always will be those who want to see us fail and those are the ones responsible for 9/11. Many people are confused about what happened and try to think otherwise and I guess that's ok if it gets them through the day. In the end all will be known and we will continue the experiment.

  8. The bombers were mostly Saudi Arabians and Osama bin Laden is taking credit for it all.  Bush is friends with the bin Laden family and flew them all out of the US on 9/12...the only planes allowed to fly immediately after the plans crashed into the centers.  You do the math and tell me what you come up with?

  9. If you want to know try this by Mike Ruppert...

  10. Yeah right! It wasn't done by the US or any conspiracy. It was exactly as it has been reported ad nauseum. The muslims are the enemy and they will continue to be until they are all wiped out.

  11. no, we didn't.

there's an awful lot of people in this country that just aren't happy unless there's a conspiracy of some sort.

there are also a lot of folks who claim that is was an "inside job" (ie there were explosives in the towers and/or the pentagon).

    also not true.

there are terrorist groups around the world that hate different people, or countries.

the US has it's fair share of people who don't like us.

    consider our support for Israel.

Palestine has been a country for thousands of years.

and the Israelis have pushed them out.

they consider the same country Israel.

if you were Palestinian, and they'd taken your ancestral house away, and chased you out, you'd be pretty unhappy too.

some, in fact have had relatives killed by the Israeli military.

it shouldn't be surprising that they want revenge.

for many years, the US has been supporting Israel in that conflict, so it's not surprising that they put part of the blame on the US.

in fact, if it were not for US support, there would, at a minimum, been a very disastrous war in the middle east, with really no winners at all.

"I thought we were all for liberty and justice, at least in the big picture!"

many of us are.  many others think we ought to bomb Iran.

consider, the 9/11 perpetrators were almost all from Saudi Arabia.

and they were trained in Afghanistan.

so why did the US invade Iraq?

because those in power (bush, Cheney, etc) wanted to do that.

Saddam clearly was a bad guy.

and if he died, his sons were even worse.

however, there are many such others that are also bad, but don't have oil, so we don't care.

This could go on forever -- foreign politics (and internal politics as well) are extraordinarily interesting.

at a minimum, these kinds of things are never simple yes or no questions.

if they were, they wouldn't be a problem.

a good example of that is,  Saddam was helping suppress al qaeda.  really.  by getting rid of Saddam, we help al qaeda.

as i said, this is not a simple world we live in.  some action may be right when looked at one way, and wrong, looked at another way.

OH,  "theory in which the twin towers were built in a certain way to pro the attack."

that's just not true.  it's again, someone who wants there to be some conspiracy or other.

    (A) no architect would do that.

    (B) no one would pay to have such a building built.

    (C) if someone were to create such a design, someone else would catch it, and expose the person.

the buildings came down exactly the way they did because of the planes.  all that happened is logical.  even the fact that the first to collapse was the second one hit, because the second one hit was hit lower, thus had more weight over the section that was being weakened by fire, and just could not support the additional weight above the floors that were burning - weakening the supporting steel columns.

it's not a mystery or a conspiracy.  really.

this is way too long.  if you've more questions, email me, and i'll answer them.  have a nice day.

EDIT:  you'll need to be more specific about  "tampered with *after* they were built"  if want a good answer.  it my guess, however, that i did address what he might be referring to already.

  12. You can't put anything past the Bush family and the NeoConservatives.

Bush's brother Marvin ran the company that did security for the WTC, United Airlines and Dulles International Airport.

    http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/911sec...

  13. I  heard some thing like that only if the planes crashed and latter the buildings came down in a fashion that suggest that the buildings had to be blowen from the ground so they could  come straight down, and all that steel, I mean there not suppose to come down like that or that easy, you've got a point there!!

  14. Block out the fifth columnists who want us to be filled with self-doubt and self-loathing.  America is still the beacon of light and Pakistan, Iran, etc still suck.

  15. You’re only 14 years old?  You give me hope and for that I thank you.  Listen to your Dad.  Watch the video below and if you’re a reader, buy one of David Ray Griffin’s books on the topic.

I too love my country and I’m sickened by the number of mindless sheeple that not only allow themselves to be blindly led into a shallow belief that to question anything the people elected into government office do is unpatriotic.  They are not the government; we are.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœWe the people”   Please read the following five quotes.

“True Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent that it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security.”

“I accept the definition of Patriotism as that effort to resist oppressive state power.”

“The true patriot is motivated by a sense of responsibility and out of self interest for himself, his family, and to the future of our country to resist government abuse of power.  The true patriot rejects the notion that patriotism means obedience to the state.”

“Each of us must choose what course of action we must take; education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary civil changes, but let it not be said that we did nothing.”

You are embarking on a journey that few adults have the courage to make.  Your mind is still fresh and open.  Don’t let anyone tell you you’re too young to understand.  Your question proves that you’re not.  Keep in mind that people are just starting to wake up and you will encounter many people like some of the ones who responded to your question who are woefully uninformed.

Freedom never was free in the past and it isn’t free today.  It was paid for in great sacrifices of blood, love, and money.  Honor those who gave so much in order for you and I to enjoy the gift of freedom.  Be aware of the fact that there are many greedy, heartless, power hungry people who want to take away your freedoms and everything else you hold near and dear to you heart.

You are just discovering one of the so called “conspiracy theories” and you will encounter many people who will discredit these theories and you for seeking the truth.  Ignore these people.  They are sheep undeserving of your time.  You are not a conspiracy theorist for seeking the truth.  If you want a label, call yourself an “Infowarrier.”   Be brave and true to your own gut instincts.  Educate yourself and rely on no one to tell you what is or isn’t true.  Remember what Albert Einstein once said, “Blind respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.”  Good luck on your journey for the truth.

  16. Well, you are going to meet people with all sorts of theories about this event. The bare bones are this:

An Saudi extremist group was formed after Gulf War One to fight America's armed presence on Saudi Holy lands and the occupation of Palestine: The now infamous Al Qaeda. In 2001 they launched a multiple suicide hijacking against the USA, striking the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Planes were indeed flown into these buildings, at least most would agree on that. I mean, I have an old friend in NYC who SAW the planes fly into the buildings, that part I know happened.

After that, there are a lot of theories that basically you need to wade through to decide for yourself. I find the idea that elements of the USA government were behind the attack suspicious for the very reason you mention, how would you recruit people for a conspiracy like that? "Psst, want to get in on on a plan to murder thousands of Americans?" I mean, most people would run to the FBI or the nearest TV station if someone seriously proposed something like that, it wouldn't work.

It IS possible that some in the USA knew or had strong hints the attack was coming, and did nothing to prevent it thinking it would be a great justification for war. (This almost certainly happened before the Pearl Harbor attack for example.) They just NEVER dreamt that the buildings would collapse after the planes hit them!

That's my theory. Study the below links very very carefully, then look at the evidence and arguments people present about 9/11, and make up your own mind. :)

  17. Part of the Republican campaign during 1952 had been to blame Democrats for losing parts of the world to the Communists. Once in power in 1953, Eisenhower's administration wanted to make sure that it would not be accused of the same thing. But, as David Halberstam writes in his history The Fifties, "The Korean war proved there were certain domestic restraints on American military involvement in the third world. The Eisenhower administration quickly found a solution in the CIA, which had developed a covert operations capability in addition to its mandated role of gathering intelligence. This willingness to use the CIA for paramilitary and other clandestine operatinos was a marked contrast from the policies of the Truman years."

The Republican administration's first opportunity would come in a struggle with the Soviet Union for control of oil in a place that for most Americans was more of a storybook than a real place. Once known as Persia, Iran had been a battleground in the First World War when the Russians battled the Ottoman Turks (then allied with Germany) over the area's territory and oil. After the war, a cavalry officer named Reza Khan overthrew the government, named himself shah, and changed the family name to Pahlavi. During World War II, the Shah tried to remain neutral, but British and Soviet forces-then allies against n**i Germany- had forced Shah Reza from the throne and installed his son Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, as the new shah. He agreed to a treaty with Britain and the Soviet Union, allowing them to use the Trans-Iranian railway to ship oil and to keep troops in Iran for the duration of the war.

The British treated Iran as a colony, taking the country's oil as if it were theirs. While the British were earning millions of pounds, the Iranians were gien only a small share of the profits. The British also established segregated facilities for British oil workers in Iran, increasing tensions and resentments among the Iranian people. In 1951, a group of Iranian nationalists led by Mohammad Mossadegh demanded an end to British control of the oil industry. Mossadegh became Iran's Soviet leaning prime minister, and the oil industry was placed under government ownership and control. The shah was reduced to a figurehead.

Then, at the request of the British, the CIA engineered a coup that would restore the shah-whose CIA code name was Boy Scout - to power. With the blessings of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and his brother Allen Dulles, head of the CIA, the chief organizer of the coup was Kermit Roosevelt, grandson of Teddy (and cousin of FDR). A CIA desk chief who specialized in the Middle East, Roosevelt secretly drove from Baghdad to Teheran, where he convinced the young shah that London and Washington would back him if he seized control. Roosevelt organized massive public demonstrations in favor of the shah, and the cooperative Teheran police suppressed any counter demonstrations. Although Roosevelt succeeded on this occasion, he was generally opposed to such CIA interventions. He later resigned from the CIA rather than participate in a plan to overthrow Egypt's Nasser. Allen Dulles-James Srodes.

The shah was in power. Mossadegh was toppled and arrested. The coup had accomplished all of America's immediate goals. But what about longer term? If history is about connecting the dots, gast forward a few years. During the early 1960s, the shah attempted a series of economic and social reforms, including a land reform program that redistributed the holdings of wealthy landlords among the peasants who worked the land. He also promoted education, improved social welfare services, and gave women the right to vote. At the same time, he exercised nearly absolute control over teh government through a hated secret police force, called the SAVAK. Opposition began to grow, especially among students and conservative Muslims.

Barely a quarter of a century later, the ultimate unforseen outcome of the CIA coup came about. in January 1979, mass demonstrations, strikes, and riots led to the shah's departure from Iran. The fundamentalist Islamic cleric Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini declared Iran an Islamic republic, and the ayatollah became the country's supreme leader. When President Carter allowed the shah to enter the US for medical treatment and refused to hand him over for trial in Iran, Iranian revolutionaries seized the US embassy in Teheran, taking a group of Americans as hostages. This was the beginning of a long history of the fundamentalist Islamic movement, whose anit-Americanism would ultimately lead to 9/11.
