John Higgins produced some brilliant displays over the week of the Welsh Open to secure his second tournament win in this rankings event.
This year, the Scot beat Ireland’s Michael Judge, compatriot Graeme Dott, Masters champion Mark Selby and world number one Ronnie O’Sullivan, before a 9-4 win against Ali Carter in the final. A tremendous run from the 2009 Player of the Year.
