I used an IRS endorsed tax filing srevice. Filed and paid 100 bucks by credit card and got a confirmation e-mail it was accepted by the IRS. July 1st I called about my refund and the IRS says I NEVER filed. So, you tell me? Who uses the government to rip off people? H&R Block, Turbo Tax, Jackson Hewitt....etc.

  1. This doesn't sound right.

The ONLY IRS-endorsed tax preparers are accessed via www.irs.com These are all free if your AGI is below $54M.

The site you used has a Help Desk to trace your confirmation number. The IRS has an E-File co-ordinator you can file a complaint with.

  2. The government uses the government to rip off people!

Ok...I give!  I am fed employee...hahaha...sorry the benefits rock! (Hope my boss doesn't read this and cap my @$$)

  3. For 10 points........Is it H&R Block???

  4. Wow..not sure which site you used but for one it was way OVER priced...next time go online  to taxact.com and use the FREE web based program.  It cost you about $16.95 to electronically file you state and federal when you are done.  I have used this program for about 3 years now and never had any issues with it .
