Who did the voiceovers for the Pace Picante television commercials in the '90s?

His ads were simple; there were no other voices or characters. The voice is similar to that of Sam Elliot. If I remember correctly, he identified himself in at least one of the ads.

I think you're right. It does sound like Sam Elliot. I only found one commercial on YouTube; but the moment I heard the voice over at the end, I was picturing Sam Elliot saying it.  I know that likely isn't what you had in mind as an answer, but I've been to every commercial site I know trying to find it, and it's just not there.
