(1) cell :- by an english scientist ROBERT HOOKE in 1663. he conducted his research on a piece of cork cells. & published his findings in his famous book 'MICROGRAPHIA'

(2) nucleus :- firstly it was described by Franz Bauer in 1802. but later it was rediscovered in more detail by an scottish botanist ROBERT BROWN in da year 1831.he conducted his research on orchids & published his talk in the Linnean Society of London.

Franz Bauer first discovered the nucleus in 1802. But in 1831 Robert Brown described it in more detail.
