  1. I've always wanted to know

  2. He was probably watching a calf drink the milk from its mother.  Get your mind out of the gutter.

  3. As the person who figured this out probably did so about 4,000 years ago when we first started domesticating animals I don't think we will ever know the answer.

  4. LOL, I think he thought this while galloping his Mom's milk. he he he. This might had come to his mind that his Mom's milk wont be suffient for the whole family, so when he grew up, he invented to drink an elephant's milk, but soon there was a scarecity. So cow's milk was invented to drink. he he he

A short story. he he he

  5. i asked this once and my very clever friend gave me this answer....whoever discovered we could drink milk probably had seen the baby cows drinking milk from the mother, and then thought they would give it a try too!!  if its good enough for the baby cow then why not us!!  it was so obvious an answer i felt really stupid asking the question!!  so im glad someone on here has asked it too!!

  6. lol experimenting :P

  7. no body did. humans have been drinking milk from ancient time. they first drank milk as just a food when they saw cows have milk. like humans babies get it from mother. then they thought that we could take the excessive milk left by the calves.

it is a food from the start of civilization

  8. I dont think cows were the first domesticated animal to give milk...it was probably the goat...as they can live on rough scrub rather than grassland....I suppose they saw the calf drink the milk and in hard times decided to milk the goat to see what happened....and thats probably how it started.

  9. I would guess that it started when for some reason a mother was unable to feed her baby - the natural thing to do would be to look for a replacement source of milk.
