  1. I dont know, but good point

  2. it wasnt me i didnt do it

  3. I have often wondered that same thing, and if they milked a cow why didn't they try to milk a horse?  I know they milk goats.  Maybe it had something to do with easily reached teats??  Both cows and goats have bigger, longer teats than other animals do.  All I know is I sure am glad no one ever tried to hook me up to a milking machine!!  LOL!!

  4. At debbie:  Different cultures DO milk horses, and goats, and camels, and llamas, and probably a lot of other animals.

  5. I often wonder that, and also, just who tried cheese for the first time?

  6. Umm, they might have been watching the babies, and noticed they drink from the mother, so they "twiddled" around an BAM! Out came milk.

  7. One guy said to the other "See that cow over there? I'm gonna pull on that pink thing dangling underneath and drink whatever comes out".

  8. I dnt know but i bet they were horny

  9. It was likely "discovered" through general observation of how they care for their young. Humans breast feed their babies, so earlier people may have supposed that they could gain a food source by milking the cow in the same means as the calf.

  10. Someone with common sense who put two and two together and decided to test out her theory.
