  1. you could call 911 for that... otherwise look in the front of your phone book and there is the direct line to the local police department.

  2. just call the local police department

  3. This is a 911 call. A deer in the middle of the road dead or alive needs attention immediately. Fallen trees? Is they are across the road or up against electrical wires, call 911.

  4. Sounds like an emergency to me...call 911

  5. i would call the local police station, for example. My fiancee and I rent a parking spot from the town, and there are times late at night that someone parks in our spot, in order to get them removed/towed from our spot we call the police dispatch and they take care of it. Not sure if that is a good example for what you might be looking for, but if I were in any of the situations that you gave, thats who I would call.

  6. If your area has it- call 311 for urgent, but non-emergency issues. Also 311 will forward you to 911 if they think its required. If you don't have 311 available then look in the phone book for the non-emergency number to your local law enforcement agency- it's usually in the blue pages in the front section. Some areas also have a 24hr number that connects you to the DOT for roadway issues such as dead animals, debris, etc.

However if there is a significant danger to drivers posed by the dead animal, debris, etc (i.e. middle of road on a curve) then notify emergency services via 911.
