Who do I call to repair a few bricks on our house?

Question

We have 4 bricks on the front of our home that have flaked away and we would like to have them replaced. I have no idea who to call or how to go about fixing the problem...

Call someone who does tuck pointing. Check in the yellow pages. I would also think any good handy man could do it.

That repair is a simple one and can be done by a mason in no time at all for little cost. I would check around for a solo mason in your area and give him the job... he will appreciate the work and and you will be more likely to make a contact that will be available for you in the future. Larry E has it right. A good tuckpointer can replace the bricks and trim up the joints. When he's done, you should never be able to see what he did.

Masonry look in your local yellow pages phone book directory and look under Masonry also some times your local hardware stores can refer someone.
