Who do I contact to get a permit to shoot pictures on the beach in Southern California, Huntington Beach?

Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Venice Beach, Costa Mesa California areas. I want my photo taken on the beach and someone said I needed a permit. They didn't say where to get it from. Anyone out there have any info on this matter?

you do not need one.  Public beaches

try and not disturb people.  If someone asks you not to photograph them ,  be nice and agree.

i go there with my gf all the time. She likes to take pictures of everything. Never had anyone told me to put it out. So i'd say , save your money and just take them.
