Who do I contact to make an appointment for a broadway audition?

I'm willing to audition for the role of Boq in WICKED and recently heard the auditions for a replacement cast are by appointment ONLY,

but I don't know who to contact to schedule and appointment.

  1. If it's for a Broadway show and is by appointment only, I would assume that it is an Equity Principal casting call and you need to be a member of the union to audition.  You need to look for open calls, and then you would show up waaaaaay early in the morning, sign in with the other non-union hopefuls, and hope that they have time left to hear you after they've heard all the Equity members.  Good Luck!


  2. Aside from being a member of Equity, if it's a by appointment only audition, you'll need to get your agent to make you an appointment; without an agent, you're not going to get near the audition.
