Who do I need to contact at Airtran Airways if my sons luggage has missing items ?

My son just flew back from Philly to Atlanta and it took two days to get his bags . We finally got them yesterday only to have someone steal his video games and some pants and shirts . He is 12 years old people are crazy .

You should have received information along with the baggage tracking where to file a claim.  If possible, take photos of the suitcase if there is any damage.  A key question will be was it locked.  If it wasn't, the odds are you will not see compensation from the airline.

They may also blame the TSA, which has a different claim process at www.tsa.gov.  Use this immediately if there was a TSA inspection letter inside.

Finally, you may be able to claim against homeowners, but probably not worth it unless they were high value items.

you can contact the people that are at the carosels and they will tell you what you need to do and in addition you should report it so that they can look in to who did it and then  press criminal charges.....
