Who do i call/where do i go to start modeling? im only 14?! helpppp!?

Question

okay so i just turned 14, and i really want to model.

im model material ( 5'10, skinny but not toooo skinny, ect )

my dad agreed to let me model, but we have no idea where to start

is there anyplace to call, or a website, or a place to go?

please please help!

Well, lets start this off, shall we? You're height fits, but leaving us with the terminology of skinny does not give me (or anybody else for that matter) much to go off of - so I'll do my best to give you an answer. Your father does understand that if signed with a top agency that you're school schedule and work schedule will collide - the fashion agenda is usually as follows (in the United States):

March (The whole month consists of LA's Mercedes Benz fashion week and catalogue work), some work in between there such as New Orleans fashion week.. Atlanta Fashion week.. Miami Fashion week.. then September comes and NY fashion week occurs followed by another LA fashion week in November. Much of the participation is also based on the market you're placed in by your agency.

However, your best bet in order to sign with these agencys is to take POLAROIDS! See www.models.com and check out their model of the week section - thats what you need! You'll need to check out fordmodels.com (theres a new model submission link at the bottom), and check out elite, Click, Wilhelmina - you can google all of these. Then again, you may benefit from looking for a local agency and building a "book" aka portfolio.

Go run and tell ur mom or dad or a friend and I do Not mean another twelve yr old,   If ur dad wants u to model hes crazy,  go to school this world is full of fourteen yr old girls looking crazy, on drugs, to skinny, to stupid to handle u r own affairs.  Thats why daddy wants u to model....

Send your photos and info to modeling agencies -- usually you can do it all over the internet.  They will probably ask for four photos -- a combination of head and body shots, as well as stats like age, weight, size, height, etc.  If they like you, they will call back.  If not, they won't.
