Who do i program my tv

ok i have a tv but i dont think its programed when my uncle brought it everything was working and then he got cable... he gave it to us and we cant program the cable.... it i not broken but will not program... what to do

You really need to let us know a lot more information.  There are 100's of different TVs and many different types of cable TV.  We have no idea how to answer your question.

Turn everything that is hooked up to the set on. Access your tv menu and in the setup or tuning menu activate the autoprogram function. After the set has completed this task, if it still doesn't work then as the guy above me said, need more info
