Surely no one is that sweaty. And even if they are, sweat on the face hardly impedes performance.

  1. I  guess cuz there sweaty, prob. thinks it looks bad on camera! i did a tennis camp, and it is very hot when you play, and u do move arpund a lot, if ur pro!!

  2. little time to strategize, to regroup, slow down the momentum if he/she on the losing trend.

  3. Drama queens

  4. Sweat on the face can indeed impede performance, besides being annoying, because it can get in your eyes.  Going for the towel on every single point might also be a part of a player's routine, especially when serving.  It's important for most players to maintain the same rhythm when serving, and that includes the time between points.

  5. Some players want to keep their hands as dry as possible as to keep a better grip on the racket.  As for their faces, yes, some obviously sweat more than others (those with longer hair, for example) and a headband may not be enough to keep it out of their eyes.

  6. It gives them a few seconds rest.

  7. They aren't having a hit about at their local club before going out for a beer.  These guys are pro athletes, playing in front of thousands of people - so yes, they really could be that sweaty.

  8. they just dont want to build up sweat, as it can be annoying in your eyes and stuff

  9. all i gotta say is sweat burns ur eyes n if u blink once in tennis who knows were that ball might hit n im sure every tennis player dont wanna blink wen a tennis ball is comin at u serena or vinus served a tennis ball at 117 mph imagine blinking think of that

  10. coz of sweat, what else?

not just tennis players, even badminton players and table tennis players i've seen doing that. maybe some of them don't feel bothered, but some might feel its a distraction.

  11. If no one is that sweaty...

then they might be using the time for a bit of a break since they just ran their butt off trying to hit a little ball.

Do you watch that stuff?  Who watches tennis?  that is about as fun as watching golf.

    Let me guess......

    g-day!

  12. it cleans them off

  13. And I notice that they never say please and thank you... spoilt brats!

  14. sweat in eyes = annoying and stings.

  15. They're arms get pretty sweaty, having to move around the court so much. I honestly think that they just do it not just because they're sweaty, but to take more time in-between points to rest.

  16. cuz they're sweaty!!!

sometimes they do get really sweaty and it may bother them like their hair flopping and its all wet ew that would be digusting

  17. I think players now do it as part of routine now even if they aren't sweaty.

Although it has been very warm at this years' Wimbledon so it would not surprise me if they are sweaty after every point

  18. Cos there pussys, and they think that the sweat will s***w up there game, pussys

  19. not sweat on face avtually the sweat from their forearms comes on their hands.. so if i wipin ma hand i might wipe ma face too

  20. So they can wipe sweat out of their eyes,  as for no one being that sweaty not so sure with the way most of the tennis players run about.
