Who do therapists go to when they need therapy?

Do therapists go to other therapists for help? Do therapists even need therapy? Can they help themselves?

they go to another therapist. its required to go to a therapist to become one. how can you help someone else if you need help yourself

They have their own therapists.  Who wouldn't after hearing people's problems all day and sometimes getting personally upset by it? They are just people like you and me.

I've never heard of that before. Therapist already know how to handle situations to avoid needing help.

Therapists go thru some therapy as part of their training to become therapists.  If they have problems, they go to other therapists.  It's not much different than a doctor who has a medical problem.  The smart ones don't treat themselves, they see other doctors.  Of course therapists and doctors have connections and usually know the best ones in their respective fields.  Other than that, it's not much different than it is for you and me.
