i think its either the red sox or the cardinals. i mean i herd from someone that when they were at the 04 WS in st. louis one of the fans went to a them and said the red sox deserve this more then the cards do. i mean that's great! but then whenever the red sox are on the road u hear 90% of the time the fans going LETS GO REDSOX! i mean come on that's loyal fans, that go to their road games. so what team do u think has the best fans?

  1. ok im going by fans and the stadiums.

loudest fans- NL-mets AL- red sox

    best believers-NL-cubs AL-white sox

    craziest fans- NL- phillies AL-yankees

stadium with the most charm- NL- wrigley field AL- fenway park

  2. Erm Texas has good fans. It's very hard to find some that are dedicated like myself but we have good fans. I've rode it out 13 years but I've found some who've put up with Texas longer than I've been alive.

  3. i have been to a major league baseball game in all stadiums, and i have to say by far it is the colorado rockies fans.  they aren't as vulgar as a lot of the fans out there like the red sox and mets fans.  if you wanna see the worst, go see the philadelphia phillies. You won't survive.

  4. "Boston's tenth man cannot be wrong!" - Dropkick Murphys

  5. NY Yankees, When you hear another sendoff like they gave paul o neill in 2001 WS, let me know. Also at the HR derby, chanting josh hamiltons name, i was there doing it too. What many people dont know is that there was also an MVP chant when hamilton was hitting.

The reason red sox fans are everywhere is cause there bandwagon. Did you see anywhere near this many sox fans around the country before 2004??? uh huh.. exactly.

  6. It's not really fans from New England that travel to all the away games. There are several teams: Cards, Red Sox, Cubs, Yanks, Dodgers, Giants; who have fans in just about all parts of the country so they draw big numbers on the road because of that.  It's not the best fans as much as it is loyal fans even though they may not live in the home market for their favorite team.

Like I live in Montana and if opportunity arose I'd go see the Cardinals in Seattle or Denver if I got the chance and would root for them.

  7. I don't like to generalize because there are good and bad fans everywhere but i always thought that Cardinal fans were respectful and knew the game well. Rangers and Os are alright too. most of them don't seem rude or anything.. but that's just me :)

  8. If you look at attendance for road teams, the top two are the Red Sox, and Cubs

  9. The Red Sox probably have the better fans in baseball because they probably have a bigger fan base than the Cardinals.

  10. New York.....Bleacher Creatures rock!  You haven't lived until you've watched a Yankee game at Yankee stadium sitting in Section 39.

  11. Toronto!

  12. RED SOX BY FAR !!!!!!!

  13. YANKEES

  14. At the moment Brewers fans We've had the most sell outs this year.  The best fans ever probably the Cubs fans.

  15. i would have to say true cubs fans are the best fans in baseball.

and i'm a red sox and diamondbacks fan.

the diamondbacks probably have some of the worst fans in baseball and the yankees definately have the most annoying fans in baseball since most of them arent true fans and all they can say we've won 26.

  16. Year in and year out, I'd say the Cardinals have the best fans...St. Louis is a GREAT baseball town..

Cubs fans are also very, very loyal, and wear the perennial mediocrity of their team as a badge of honor..

  17. I would say Boston red sox. b/c with their recently win with the world series, people have been going to the games and cheering. Plus, they are always playing the Yankees so the fans really get into it....

  18. True Fans: Oakland A's, Yes they only get about 20k people a night but those 20k bring drums, make noise, know when to get looud, and are true fans

Most Fans: Boston Red Sox, they just have way to many fans.......i know a lot of people who love the Red Sox, and we live 2500 miles away

  19. "Best" is subjective. Besides, what's the criteria for "best" fans? Are we talking most knowledgeable, how often they fill up the home ballpark, how they behave on the road? How they treat opposing players?

I admit to being biased, but the Yankees have GREAT fans. Not good, GREAT! Most Yankees fans I know are NOT bandwagoners, know the intricacies of the game as well as anyone and bleed Pinstripes. They lived through the '60s and the '80s (like me) and can tell you about guys like Mike Pagliarulo, Horace Clarke, Roy White, Roy Smalley and Claudell Washington in addition to guys like Mantle, Mattingly, Jeter and Rivera.

As for best? I've heard great things about Cardinals fans. But are Cardinals fans great because they salute visiting players or because they don't boo? Sometimes, a crowd that gets on opposing players can be a great crowd. I don't know about you, but I like fans with passion, even if it means getting on a visiting player - within reason, of course.

  20. Sorry guys, but the Chicago Cubbies have the biggest fan base in MLB.

They have sellouts at every home game, and when they're on the road, those other teams just love the crowds the Cubs draw because it's more money in their pockets.

Cub Fans are amazing, no doubt about it.

  21. Chicago Cubs.  They go everywhere and are so loyal!  At a Florida Marlins game in Florida more than half the fans were Cubs fans!  Also even though the Cubs haven't won a World Series in 100 years the fans still are loyal!  Most fans these days just go to games when the team is doing well, but the Cubs fan stick with their team through it all!

  22. Everyone will say there team has the best fans so I wuill have to do the same and I believe the Cardinals have the best fans in baseball.  Its not how many fans you have or if they travel to the away games itsd thsportmanship they show at games.  At Cardinals game if an opposition player makes a very good play St. Louis fans will applud for him even if the play went against the Cardinals.  Some places they would boo the poor guy out of the park.   While we may not fill the park every game fans of the "Birds on the Bat"  are the best by far.
