paul pierce cant take kobe 1 on 1 if you really watched the nba finals paul pierce always rely on kg's high picks to get pass kobe while on the defensive end it was the whole boston defence that stopped kobe not pierce alone

i'm one of the biggest celtics fans there is, and i have to tell you, Kobe without a  doubt is better than Pierce.

and enough with the "pierce led his team to only 20 wins without help", he was injured for at least 20 games that year, and he was the only Veteran on the team.

Kobe needed help to, what has he done without Shaq? He lost to Paul Pierce and the celtics in the finals.

Kobe Bryant and there isn't even a close race (I'm not even a Kobe fan either).  In the Finals though that was Paul Pierce man he just schooled Kobe and made him look foolish. But it was only one great Finals by Paul and Kobe has had many to prove himself the best!!!

Is this even a serious question? Just because Paul Pierce THINKS he's the best player, he's not. That belongs to Kobe Bryant.

And people, just because he had one good playoff run, doesn't mean he's better than Bryant. Let's be honest, Rodmanovic has ZERO defense, and Lamar was too scared to play physical against him. If my Lakers had a spine, and attempted to help Kobe out, maybe he wouldn't have to do all the work on offense AND defense.
