i think its rohit sharma. he has been among the top run getters n is a great fielder as well.

they were not successful coz they didn't play as a team. it doesn't matter if u hv great players, if u don't play as a team u won't get the desired results.

Well I think Rohit Sharma batted beautifully for them. Venugopal Rao also played well but Deccan failed to capitalise on these efforts. The bowling department is quite weak and they bleed runs at crucial times. They have great players but no one really comes to the rescue when they are needed the most.

I think Rohit Sharma is the best in DC bcoz he is the one who played consistenly well...

The reasons why DC failed to perform are:-

1) Andrew Symonds left

2) Their batsman didn't really fire throughout the tournament!

3) They didn't 've good & experienced bowlers, though RP Singh did a good job!

4) Batsman like Afridi, Styris, Gibbs, etc didn't perform well!

5) Gilchrist was not consistent

6) Feilding remained another concern for them
