Tim Duncan, the best player in the league right now, and i'm not saying this based on stats. All 30 NBA TEAMS surely want his services, a very team oriented player, and a proven winner, he plays to win.

Tim Duncan gets the job done in terms of rebounds, defense, and scoring.  I would take him over Kevin Garnett because he's a much better post player.  That's not a diss on Kevin Garnett, because he's obviously one of the best too.

If I were building a team, I would take Tim Duncan because of his experience, even though he's starting to get up there in age.  It would be tough chosing between Duncan and a player like Lebron James.
