Crosby or Staal probably. Toews is going to be in the mix too, he's a leader. Getting an A midseason in your rookie year? That's showing leadership.

As for Sakic, I think he plays another year.

Sidney Crosby. I don't see anybody else leading that team since he can be a captain now for the Penguins. He can be a captain until he's retired. A franchise leader.

I personally think it will be rick nash. He is a talented athlete with alot of leadership skills aswell. He is under rated in the NHL and i think he would be a great captain for team Canada
