  1. TSONGA

  2. Ernests Gulbis

  3. Ummmm......fourth in a trio?

Seriously though, I can't see anyone in the current top twenty with the consistency in his game to mount a sustainable challenge to the three you name.  Rafa is the King of Clay; Rog is King of everything else; and Novak will pick up the scraps that the other two don't win.  Until Federer retires.....whereupon I could see Novak leapfrogging Nadal.

I think that the fourth spot in the rankings will shuttle around between a bunch of players.  Like, until recently in golf there were the Big Four - Woods, Mickelson, Singh and Els - and no-one else was close for a good few years.

The point is that when a sport is dominated by a few players who win most of the tournaments between them, the other top ten spots tend to be made up from guys (or gals) who are in the right place at the right time when the big guns misfire.

Well, that's my two penn'orth anyway!

  4. i want to be andy roddick.-

i doubt it would be gasquet or murray, they don't have the mental strenght that takes to be up there.-

gulbis looks like a posibility too,he's been playing great lately.-

  5. i would like it to be Murray but I'm not sure if he is mentally ready to be up there yet he is only young and i think he still needs time to develop and find his form.

  6. Noone, for a long time there were only Federer and Nadal, now there is Djokovic, after how long? 3, 4 years? So there was duo for 3 years, what makes you think there will be 4th players showing up any time soon? I highly doubt it. Ofc there will always be few guys to fight for 4th place, but I don't see any of the current players that can match skills of those 3.

  7. nikolay davydenko

  8. i think we already had one if he only were a little more constant - David Nalbandian.

unfortunately the guy is a bit lazy in practising.

on the other hand i agree with the answerer above

    Ernests Gulbis

also Gaël Monfils (Myson :) ) had the talent to go up if he could overcome his injuries.

  9. How can you miss David Ferrer man?

  10. No one really jumps to mind as a sure-fire star. The current #4, Davydenko is good but his game, much like his results, is based on consistency rather than spectacular play and results. Tsonga and Monfils have both had good slam results, but Tsonga seems to always be injured and I still say Monfils is too flaky. Gasquet? Another flake. Loads of talent but a poor mentality, Murray too. Gulbis seems to be on the rise but it's simply way to early to pronounce him "the next big thing". Others like Nalbandian, Blake, and Roddick have been around too long for anyone to believe they will suddenly step it up and join the big guys. Personally, I think it may be quite a while before a new guy muscles in on the top three.

  11. i think roddick ferrer or nalbadian ( that how you spell it?).

Roddick- worlds fastest server and over head.

Ferrer- See him. He plays some pretty good matches.

Nalbadian- beat Novak, Roger, and Nadal all in a row last year.
