I looked at the housing commission and housing agency but these seem to be more for HUD. Our window were installed wrong and we get ice in our house in the winter. The builder will do nothing about it. Who can we go to?

  1. State Registrar of Contractors.

  2. Yes, the state department of commerce (or the like) should be able to help.  Your house is less than 1 year old, I hope?  If so, call your local homebuilder's assn and see if the builder is a member.  The assn may be the one providing a warranty, and they would also be able to help under those circumstances.  If the house is more than a year old, you will have a much bigger problem finding help, I'm afraid.
