Who do we want to play: France, Argentina or Ireland?

Ireland look the easiest team on current form, but I reckon the Argies will beat them so they won't figure. The Argies are playing at the top of their game but should be no match for the ABs. France seem to be coming right after their opening game shocker and we all know the threat they pose.

  1. well . It does not matter who we play .. We have to beat whoever it is to progress to the semi's ..

Argentina might just be the toughest .. They have not yet had their line crossed ..

  2. Argentina -  just to have an interesting game:)

  3. I think like my friend mentioned, the French are a team one can never overlook. Anytime and any place they can beat anyone. Certainly on form and the past few encounters show that the AB's have the edge. Add to that the Ab's will be able to play them in a neutral venue being in Wales.

There is also the valuable point that a scalp like the French is great preparation for the Aussies. France I think are probably going to run out of time to get it right. They weren't anything to write home about after the Irish and know to knock off the Ab's they will need a lot of luck. If they finished first then it might be interesting to see because it may give them an easy game in the quarters before a likely clash with the Boks.

    Oh its all so intriguing!~!

  4. We'll be playing France for sure.  I can't see Ireland beating Argentina let alone scoring 4 tries or winning by more than 7.  I don't think Argentina will score 4 tries either but even a close loss will get them first place.

I had Argentina finishing 2nd in the pool before the RWC started but since they won that first game, I have been l*****g my lips at the prospect of playing France in the QF.  The fact it would be outside France is even better!  Both teams would be regarded as being on neutral soil so they go to a coin flip for jersey selection.

IMO France changed jersey colours this year purely to get some kind of "psychological" advantage if they played NZ.  France are most dangerous when their backs are against the wall but I just don't see them getting passed us with all the pressure of being the "host" nation, playing on foreign soil, possibly having a tactical ploy backfire and just playing a better team.  Can't wait!!!
