Who do you believe would win in a fight between Iron Man and Batman?

got into a bit of a quarrel with a fella from work, and i need an unbiased opinion. the reason for the arguement is because of the recent comments by Robert Downey Jr.

Ironman definetly because batman isn't that good ironman cant get beaten up easily and when people shoot him he doesnt get hit ironman can shoot things he is awesome

I'd go with Iron Man.  Batman's lack of mobility is a definite disadvantage.

Iron Man could lift Batman and drop him to his death easily.

iron-man hands down, batman just has gadgets but iron-man has the repulsor guns and other weapons

chill batman is 2 smart 4 iron man. he will think of a way 2 stop iron man in his tracks and use is explosive bat throwy thingys at him

i would choose batman because i have seen batman he defeated superman and captain america so the answer is batman wins

I think that there's no comparison between the two movies. Dark Knight is a hundred times superior than Iron Man although i liked both. But lets face it, Batman has no chance against Iron Man. It's a matter of suits. Batman could be very smart and have a lot of gadgets but there's no way to go trough that iron suit.

batman may be loaded with explosive bat-shaped shurikens that can penetrate iron man's defenses, but iron man may have a super powerful weapon that batman can't dodge, its pretty much a tie.

Batman would kick Iron Man's but any day. If Batman can beat Superman, then of course he can beat Iron Man. Iron Man was barely able to beat Captain America, and in the comic Marvel vs. D.C. Batman beat Captain America without too much difficulty. Not jus that but Batman is smarter than Iron Man. Batman has also had some mechanical suits to add to his arsenal as well. But being that its Batman, technology isn't much of a hump to jump over and he could just make a virus and uplaod it into Iron Man's suit.
